I have been going to the Silverlake location for about 10 years. I get my two dogs groomed at Moonshine grooming. And, I buy toys, treats, dog tags, collars, leashes and other supplies at the Urban Pet. For the most part everyone has been very kind and helpful. That is why I have stayed with them over the years.

I love this place. They have so many things I can get for my puppy from food to toys. The staff here is amazing! I have taken my puppy here twice to get groomed, and they took amazing care of him. They are the only people I trust with him. He is so calm and happy here. DD is so sweet, kind, and loving. I need to bring my baby here more often ❤️

It’s affordable and clean. They don’t pressure you to tip for self wash which doesn’t feel like a tipping situation to me so that’s a plus. Not to be mean but I don’t want to tip when I have to wash the dog myself because of budget concerns. The staff are friendly and helpful.

This store has everything you need for your pet! I've been coming here for more than 15 years and I am a proud and satisfied customer of The Urban Pet - Silver Lake. On my most recent visit I bought a squeaky toy and a bag of treats for Liz, my 5 1/2 year old cocker spaniel. We were both very happy with the purchase!

The 3 locations I have visited are all a good place to get food and treats that your fur friends want like primal and green juju, brands that are harder to find in the warehouse stores. And the people who work there are wonderful. ♥️

Such a fantastic local store, Chris was so so knowledgeable and helpful. Amazing products, and they really care about your pet loving things and are very generous/understanding with their return policy if need be. 10/10 spot

Awesome shop with the kindest staff! I’m so happy to have a neighborhood pet store like this one! They have a great variety of products and the staff are just so wonderful- each person is really kind and helpful and it makes my day to get to stop in here!

This place is great. The staff are wonderful and the selection is top notch. Their savings program and return policy are very customer friendly. This place is even good if you own a cat which most pet stores notoriously aren’t great for. A tip for parking - I’m not a phenomenal driver and the lot is a little tight and fills up fast. There’s parking available down the block for you which makes it easier for folks like me.
